<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Perhaps our watch is the most personal item most of us wear. </p><p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">We know that some of our customers rarely take their watch off, and as they will probably own it for many years it can become a far more intimate possession than any clothing….</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The motto of my school was ‘Respice, Aspice, Prospice’. </p><p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">I wasn’t among the favoured few to learn Latin, so was sent to the woodwork shop! However, I knew that the English translation was ‘Look to the past, present and future’…</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Watchmaking is an art, as well as a science. Any watch will (hopefully) tell the time, but at Harold Pinchbeck we like to think that our timepieces do a bit more than fulfil this basic need…</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The Seasonal Dale is one of our most elegant watches, but it’s been unavailable for two years. </p><p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;"> Because of demand, we are delighted to announce that we are now offering this beautiful watch again!</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">It’s always a joy to open a parcel from Tanner Bates. Their parcels are beautifully presented, with each strap carefully wrapped in tissue. Such fine tanned hide has a wonderful aroma (think of the interior of a Rolls-Royce)…</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">It's reassuring to know that our servicing and repair work is usually carried out by the same careful craftsman who originally built the watch, which brings a nice continuity to ownership. Look after your watch, and it will look after you: we are here to help!</p>

At Harold Pinchbeck we are delighted to support the annual Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch in London’s historic Guildhall. Since 2008 it’s been one of the City’s biggest fundraisers supporting members of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces and veterans who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
